Have mercy. Manny Ramirez' towering shot in the eighth blew the Indians right out of Jacobs Field. Following the Guillermo Mota intentional walk of David Ortiz, Manny took a 1-0 pitch deep into right center. He intentionally hit the homer, because he took the intentional walk of David Ortiz as an insult, or rather a slap in the face. I mean, you know you'd be upset when you saw the batter in front of you get walked, just so the pitcher can face you instead of the walked batter, because you are the lesser hitter!!?!! So, Manny showed up the Indians, and the Red Sox are sitting on the AL East at 13-7, 2 games ahead of the Yankees. Curt Schilling had no decision, giving up 5 runs despite 8 strikeouts. The Yankees are on a 3-game win streak, but BEWARE Yanks, because the Boston Red Sox are playing with a chip on their shoulder, and they won't stop. And Oh by the way, Jon Papelbon has a MLB leading 9 saves. GO SOX!!!!!! BoSox Boxscore
